The short, to the point, boring stuff about me. :)

My full name is Paul Luke Ming. I was born in 1969 on the forest moon of Endor (well, acutally, I was born in Crecent City in northern California; they filmed the Endor forest parts of Return of the Jedi there. :) ).
I am interested in web page design, 3D computer graphics and animation, 2D digital art as well as traditional 2D art, '3D computer games ---Quake, Hexen/2/DOOM/2/Heretic---and making levels for them, miniture painting (RPG 25mm lead minitures), and, of course, role-playing games.
I have been doing digital art and web stuff for about 2 years. My favored digital art tools are:

  • Pentium 100 with 32MB RAM
  • Wacom 6"x8" graphics tablet
  • trueSpace 3.1
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Fractal Designs' Painter
  • (and Homesite 2.5a for web page design w/ MS GIF Animator)

  •      As for role-playing games... I have been playing for about 17+ years. I mostly serve as Dungeon Master (or Game Master; same thing). I have played for probably about 7 years, but the other 10 were as DM. My favorite RPGs are:

  • Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, 1st Edition
  • Basic Dungeons & Dragons
  • Gamma World, 3rd Edition (the one with the ACT Table; not the crappy 'AD&D ized' version)
  • Powers & Perils
  • ...just about everything else (Warhammer FRPG, Star Fontiers and Call of Cthulhu come to mind).

  •      That about does it. I live in Whitehorse, Yukon (that's in Canadas north, next to Alaska and the North West Territories) with my gorgeous fiancé, Cheryl and our cat...uh, 'Cat'. He doesn't have a name really, we just call him whatever. There is a story behind him; you can read it at Cheryls site.
